PAST PROGRAMS
Kids who love making art are encouraged to register for our free art classes! Join Sarah every Wednesday through July from 10-11:30am. Learn a variety of techniques and create incredible art projects using different mediums.
The “Wonderful Me” Project

Baby & Me Loving Yoga – Join Instructor Jolene McGill for post-natal / new caregiver yoga classes. Make connections in the community, enjoy quality time with your baby and nourish your body. 4 sessions beginning April 17th. Mondays from 10:30-11:30am in the Partridge Room at Youth and Family. You are welcome to bring siblings. Don’t forget your yoga mat, if you have one. Email Tricia at tmctaggart@youthandfamily.ca for more information.

Early Years “Let’s Engage” Summer Program – Tuesdays & Thursdays, July 12 – Aug 25, 10am – 12pm. Free activities for families with children ages 0-6. Early Years Summer in the South Program – Youth & Family looks forward to seeing you South of Town this summer! Drop-in program at Lang Bay Community Center on Mondays from 10am-12pm. We welcome babies, toddlers and young children with their caregiver or parent. Older siblings may also join in! Pre-registration is not required. About the ORCA Bus
Youth & Family Powell River are delighted to be serving the community as the new organization “steering” the ORCA Bus! Our programming will be focused as before on children ages 0 – 6 and their families – we love this age group! The SD 47 Strong Start programs will continue to be offered in parks and local community spaces as ORCA Neighbourhood while we take the show on the road with the ORCA Bus. This will mean doubling the reach and doubling the programming offered for little ones and their families in the qathet region. We’re excited about that! Please check back for updates!
