COVID-19 Information

Youth & Family Powell River follows all Provincial Health Orders. Visitors to our offices, Family Centre Library & Youth Resource Centre are asked to sanitize, sign in, and complete a declaration regarding Covid 19. Please do not visit if you are feeling ill or have been exposed to someone with Covid 19. (Curbside or virtual services may be available instead.) As of March 10, 2022, face coverings are no longer required in indoor public spaces but, staff or visitors may wear them if they feel more comfortable doing so.

The Province of BC declared a state of emergency to support COVID-19 response. For Support for British Columbians, you can call 1-888-COVID19 and speak to a ServiceBC agent for any non-health related information and services such as childcare, travel advisories, school closures and more. Service is available from 7:30am to 8:00pm PST.

The Government of Canada is taking immediate, significant and decisive action to help Canadians facing hardship as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak.
